VENUE
The Conference will have its opening session at Börsen on the evenning of the 27th April and then continue the nextt day at Eriksbergshallen in Göteborg city.
Eriksbergshallen, which previously housed Eriksbergs mekaniska verkstad (a metal working and machining company), is located next door to Quality Hotel 11 on Gothenburg´s Norra Älvstrand. A building with tradition and atmosphere that today serves as a very modern space for conferences and events.
Towards the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's, the activity in the Eriksberg area was at its peak. Here, they made and testoperated the diesel engines that were to be installed in the ships built at this shipyard. Since the Middle Ages, Göta Älv ( The Göta River ) has been of great importance with respect to Swedish trade.
