The Second Passivhus Norden is divided into two parts, the Research and Development part and the Practice and Implementation part.

Following topics are considered for the Conference:

Research and Development:

Passivhus Norden Criteria and relation to building regulations

Calculation methods

Energy supply systems for passive houses

Ventilation

Components; performance and development

Indoor climate

Experience from built examples; new and renovated (including design, construction, evaluation)

Environmental analyses

Certification of passive houses

Experiences from areas with cold climate outside the Nordic Region

Practice and Implementation:

Planning and Architecture, detailed design

Construction and quality of building

Products and components

Hinders and barriers for building passive houses

Experiences from realised projects, user perspective

Rebuilding and Refurbishment

Costs vs profit of building passive houses

Training and education with focus on passive houses

Experiences outside the Nordic countries

The Conference languages are English, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. The Research and Development part of the Conference will be held in English, while the Practise and Implementation part will be held in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian.

Registration for participants presenting papers, (if paper accepted), 3000SEK
Registration for participants presenting posters (if poster accepted), 4000SEK
Registration for particpants particpating in passive house exhibition, 5000SEK
Students (does not include dinner), 400SEK
(Number of places is limited)
 
The registration fee covers three days of conference including participation at all lectures, excursion, exhibition, lunch, coffe break and dinner.  In the event the conference is cancelled, all participants will be notified and conference fees will be fully refunded.
